Meet Our Director
French language Consultant, Author and Tutor
Wilhemina Cornelia Darkwah (née Daniels) is a French language Consultant, Author and Tutor. She has learnt the French language for over 20 years. For the past 15 years, she has researched, created and used fast and effective methods of teaching the French language to Anglophones, mostly Ghanaians. She has taught the French language to both adults and children and has seen 100% turn around in the performance and outcome of the learners. She believes that every French learner should not just be content with reading and writing of French, but also be able to listen, understand and speak it. After all, a language is meant to be spoken.
Achievers Success Hub
Achievers Success Hub (ASH) Ltd. was registered in 2013 as a bilingual (French/ English) and secretarial service provider. Over the years, we identified a problem of French learners being unable to understand the basic concepts of French and the inability of learners even at the intermediate level to express themselves in spoken French. Our focus since then has been mainly on French tuition. We use highly interactive teaching methods that make use of videos, audios, imagery and practical lessons to create a French environment which we call Françomonde (French world).
In our bid to create an effective Françomonde, we realised another major challenge: the unavailability of teaching and learning resources for the methods we are using. We therefore started creating Flashcards, Text books, story books and other materials that meet the requirement of FLE (Français Langue Etrangère- guidelines for Learning French as a Foreign Language) and also takes into consideration the challenges of learners from Ghana.
